Welcome to SEGACD World, this website is where you can download some Sega CD Roms, also known as, Mega CD.
What is the Sega CD/Mega CD ?, The Sega CD was a 16-Bit add-on for the Genesis/Megadrive, it was a upgrade with an extra processor and RAM plus you could play your audio CD's as well.
I do not have enough webspace to host all the Sega CD games, but the one's I do have are great.
There are not many websites where you can download sega CD games, most of them will charge you to download. You can download them free from SEGACD World but please remember,the bandwidth has to be shared.
To play these games you will need an emulator like gens, which you can download from SEGACD World. You are also going to need the Sega CD bios files, or the games will not work.
Tip, some games will only work with perfect synchro on.

Announcement
I have decided to close SegaCD World down.
Due to internet changes in the UK and lack of time to keep site up to date. Also the credit crunch is another reason why.
This website will close at the latest, end of march 09.
No more Affiliates will be excepted.
SegaCD World has been around for about four years, so not bad. Unfortunately all good things come to an end.
